Morning After Aurora

beyondadventuresym

You've been out late at night watching the Aurora Borealis dance, What do you do with the rest of your day after your sleep in?

After a good sleep in head to our friends at Mitchell's Cafe, to start your day caffeinated and on the right foot. After that grab a quick bite to eat one of our local brunch places. A few local favorites worthy of checking out are; Surekha's on the Snye, Cora's, McRay's and Ms B's for the folks missing the

home cooked meals from the rock.

Once you have grabbed a bite to eat and some caffeine we suggest you call up our friends at Controlled Chaos and book a dog sled tour! Likely you will want to do this a head of time to make sure they have availability for you! If you are doing this let us know and we can extend your winter gear rental from us until after your excursion to ensure you stay warm and dry during this experience to make it even more memorable.

If you plan your day right after a dog sled experience you could head out to Vista Ridge and take in some night skiing! If tired of the cool air and fresh air and looking for something else to do in town, we have many great local resturants that could provide you with a full belly and something to wet your whistle after a long day and previous night of adventuring. A few of the following provide a good mix of food with great atmosphere; At Drum Brewing you can find some great local ales and amazing food, Seventy Two Kitchen and Patio is a great place to grab a bite to eat after a long day of adventuring, you could even stop in for a quick dip at Mac Island for a hot tub to warm up before heading to over to enjoy some amazing pub grub.
